Introduction
By joining the investor challenge you get the chance to improve your investment skills and get new investment ideas no matter what your level is – beginner or expert. And you connect to interesting people who might help you invest better in the future.

The challenge is about investing and building the best possible stock portfolio. It’s a global challenge and you can invest in stocks from all over the world. You are given USD 1.000.000 in challenge money to invest when you start.

Investors are ranked according to their recent investment performance, so you can easily:

• compare yourself to friends and other investors from your country and the world.
• find top performing investors to follow and learn from.

You can easily follow other investors and see which stocks they choose to invest in – trade by trade, and they can follow you as well.

Investors also comment their investment decisions and post comments, opinions and research as to why they are positive or negative about a stock. This way everybody gets inspiration and shares their investment ideas.

Friends and other investors can get together in groups to form local challenges.

Investor performance are measured and ranked for the most recent week, month, three month, one year, so the challenge never stops. If you do badly in a given month you can still become a top performing investor in the next month.

1. How to get started
You are given USD 1.000.000 in challenge money to invest when you start. You can invest them in stocks from around the world and build your stock portfolio. You can short stocks as well.

You can also start a watch list and keep an eye on some of the stocks and related news before you decide to include them into your portfolio.

What to invest in
If you don’t know which stocks to invest in at first, then you can get investment ideas:

a) Start following great investors (or friends) to learn and get inspiration. You have full access to their portfolios and watch lists, as they have to yours, and you will get updates into your personal activity feed whenever one of the investors you follow, buys or sells a stock, or post comments. b) find inspiration by looking at market overview pages for different stock markets in the world.

How to buy or sell stocks
When you decide to buy a stock, you add a stock order for that stock. The order goes into your orders, as an open order waiting to be filled. If the order is filled the stock will then be added to your portfolio.

There is a delay of 15-20 minutes before an order can be filled. This is because not everybody has access to real time quotes for the different stock markets.
